Who we are

TN Groundworks & Civils is a specialist groundworks and civil engineering contractor delivering full infrastructure packages for residential and commercial developments across the Midlands.

We work with housebuilders, developers, and main contractors on schemes typically ranging from 10 to 100 residential plots, with project values from £500,000 up to £5 million.

Our role is to take full responsibility for the groundworks package — from enabling works through to earthworks, drainage, foundations, roads, and external works — ensuring projects are delivered with structure, clarity, and control.

The Gap We Were Built To Bridge

The groundworks sector is typically split into two extremes.

At one end, smaller contractors often lack the plant, engineering capability, and workforce capacity to deliver medium-scale developments efficiently. These projects become stretched, fragmented, or overly reliant on subcontracting.

At the other end, large national contractors focus on major infrastructure and high-value schemes, often paying limited attention to developments in the 10–100 plot range where programme flexibility and commercial efficiency are critical.

TN Groundworks & Civils was built to operate in this gap.

We combine the capability, systems, and technical delivery standards of a larger contractor with the agility, responsiveness, and director-led control of a smaller business.

This allows us to take on schemes that are too complex for smaller groundworkers, while remaining more flexible and cost-efficient than national firms.
